The Plymouth Prowler, introduced in 1997, is based on a 1993 concept car that was a tribute to the American street rod which features Indy style open front wheels rear wheel drive and a transmission mounted in the rear creating nearly 50-50 weight distribution. The major change for the 1999 model was the new standard 3.5L aluminum block V6 engine rated at 253 horsepower and 255 ft./lbs. of torque makes the Prowler surprisingly quick and agile and is capable of 0-60 times of under 6 seconds! This 1999 Prowler is powered by its 3.5L V6 Engine and is backed by a shiftable Autostick 4-speed automatic transmission.
