The Ford Model A holds a special spot in many automobile lovers' hearts but of all the years these were built, the 1940 holds a special spot for many collectors and enthusiasts alike. With many updates coming to the vehicle for that model year including the beautifully curved fenders and body contours, this vehicle gave creature comforts to its owners that had not been available before such as its popup cowl vent opposed to the crank out windshield of before. Other distinguishing features were its headlight and parking light trim pieces as well as the vertical grille bars painted to match the body and with 4 different body styles to choose from, this was much more diverse than the previous Model T which kept the market interested in the new Ford lineups to follow.

This Ford went through a full frame-off restoration by its current owner just over 15 years ago and is believed to still have all of its original steel intact. Built from the ground up, this vehicle received all new power disc brakes, all new brake and gas lines, new gas tank, a new carburetor was installed as well as an aluminum radiator, new front I-beam axle installed with sway bar, new wire harness and more! The inside saw its fair share of upgrades during this rebuild as well with its Dolphin gauges, cruise control, A/C and even power windows all in great working condition. The fresh carpet, new headliner, new upholstery throughout and freshly updated door panels gives you all the comfort you could ask for and its Ididit column tilt adds to the list of creature comforts you wouldn't normally find in such a vehicle. The outside features all new glass and seals, the stainless steel bumpers are new since build, new wipers, all new stainless steel trim, Coker wheels and a wonderful custom color.
