New Price: Offered here for your consideration is an outstanding one-owner, 1982 Jaguar XJ6 Sedan with only 53,000 original miles. This California car was purchased new in Santa Barbara, California at Moss Motors....a Jaguar, Rover and Triumph dealership at the time. The owners still retain the original factory window sticker from the dealership which will be included in this sale. (see photo)
Always covered and garaged, the vehicle remains in excellent original condition.
Exterior: The paint and pinstripe are very presentable with a scratch in the paint finish on the passenger-side back door plus some very fine scratches on the trunk hood surface. (They trunk scratches were too minute to photograph and could most likely be detailed out). Two spots of paint bubbling were noticed on the body by the top-edge of the windshield frame on the driver's side. Spots were also present on the D/S lower-front body panel. (see photos) The undersides of the doors appear solid. All in all the paint is in excellent condition and shows very well. All exterior chrome, rubber and bumpers are first-class.
Interior: The interior appointments and the clear-coat hardwood interior dash are superb. The padded dash, gauges and radio show as-new. The driver's seat bottom shows a bit of wear. The back seat shows very little use. All door panels are in great condition. The headliner cloth covering is sagging and will need some attention.
With only 53,000 original miles, the car runs flawlessly and has been regularly maintained by the esteemed mechanics at East-West Motors in Santa Barbara.
