Fine dining, but also aggressive
Fiat 1100 TV Pininfarina Coupe is a car especially elegant and refined. The front is dominated by the grille with the large letters "TV" — turismo veloce, in relief. The air intake on the bonnet which denounces the racing nature of the engine. Under the hood there is a four-cylinder in-line engine of 1089 cc (bore and stroke 75 x 68 mm). It has a compression ratio of 7.6:1, cast iron and light alloy cylinder head. Pressed steel oil pan, liquid cooling, distribution with camshaft in the crankcase overhead valve pushrod-controlled. The power supply provides a Weber 36 DCLD3 and battery ignition with distributor Marelli.
Excellent performance
The engine is capable of delivering a maximum power of 50 HP at 5400 RPM, what allows to Fiat 1100 TV coupé to reach a speed of 150/155 mph. The clutch is dry plate with four-speed transmission controlled by a lever on the steering wheel, the first sync. The Steering, screw and roller, allows a turning circle of 10.500 m.
