Vehicle Description
The SL variant was a 2-seat convertible with standard soft top and optional hardtop. This particular year of SL was the R107 Chassis which replaced the W113 and then was later replaced by the R129. The R107 which was produced from 1971 through 1989, making it the second longest single series ever produced by Mercedes Benz.
These models are highly desirable and quite possibly the most recognized model of automobile on the road today. They have become very popular in the collectible car market and are only increasing in value as time goes on.
This particular SL is finished in Astralsilber Metallic over a blue leather interior, blue convertible soft-top and is also offered with the desirable optional hard-top. The car is in good condition. It starts, runs and goes down the road as it should with all equipment operating functioning properly. The tires and brakes appear to be in good condition. The convertible top appears to be in good condition, it opens and closes as it should however it appears to be original to the car showing some wear in areas.
This is a very good driver quality car that can be driven and enjoyed.
