This vehicle was purchased new in White Plains New York in October, 1955 by Nelson
Rockefeller. I have owned the vehicle for 25 years and during that time it has gone through extensive restoration. Not a frame off, but pretty close. Body was taaken down to bare metal, all rust removed and resectioned with new metal. Transmission and engine were rebuilt with engine getting stainless valves and valve seats so as to be able to run on today's low octane fuels. Vehicle was painted the original color and interior was completely reupholstered in red and gray leather. This is one of 2556 vehicles manufactured in 1956 and sold new for $9,500.
