MODEL OVERVIEW: Porsche introduced the 993 series of it's Carrera 911 in late 1994 for the 1995 model year. Offered in coupe cabriolet and later targa Carrera 2 and 4. The 1995-98 911 (993) was the last of the classic air-cooled engine with a modern twist or styling of the classic Porsche 911 body and chassis. The 993 had improved handling increased performance and smoother styling from it's previous variants which made the model one of the best Porsches for the road and track.THE CAR: This Guards Red PORSCHE 993 is an excellent example of a well cared for and preserved car. The car is very stock and original with only 38000 miles traveled. It shows light normal signs of road use and age. Exceptionally clean inside and out as well as a clean underside. EXTERIOR: The factory Guards Red paint looks stunning. The paint finish is excellent with only normal minor paint chip (mostly the front bumper area). The car has a clear vinyl bra to protect the paint from further rock chips and wear. No dings on body panels.The glass rubber seals and original factory 17 inch Cup design wheels are all in excellent condition. The Kumho tires are in very good condition with about 75% remaining tread life. Working power convertible top with new canvas top. Convertible boot cover included. INTERIOR: The tan interior is very clean and in excellent condition. Tan leather front seats include 8-way power controls. The leather is soft and in great condition with only light wear and/or aging. No cracks on the dash. All gauges are clear and working. Working A/C power windows and cruise control. Radio is a non factory unit. Very clean non-smoking interior.MECHANICALS: Non-modified classic air-cooled 3.6 liter flat-6 producing 270 horsepower.
