1955 Chevrolet 3100 “Big Window” Hot Rod truck for sale. *NEW REDUCED PRICE
Total frame off re-build on a later model, ½ ton chassis. Just about everything is new. Original ‘55 cab and bed w/ new custom tilt fiberglass front end and wide fenders, which are 4” wider than stock. Custom, rolled rear end and filled bed rails. New windshield and single panel door glass. Looks amazing on it’s chromed “baby moon” wheels.
The engine is a late 60’s 327 that has just been rebuilt, w/ a turbo 350 transmission. Some of the new parts include TRW forged pistons, carburetor, steel crankshaft, aluminum manifold, ceramic coated headers and mufflers, new radiator, Mallory ignition, new wiring harness, gauges and fuel cell in the bed. Modern suspension, totally lowered w/ dropped spindles and rear end mounted over the springs. New disc brake system…new rotors, master cylinder and brake pads.
This truck took some 14 years to build and has less than 400 miles on it since the build was completed. Most of the work was done by “Bel-Air Ranch” in Buellton, Ca and receipts from work can be provided.
