The Monte Carlo SS Aerocoupe models were only produced in 1986 and 1987 with a total of only 6,052 released in 1987. That's only 8% of the total Monte Carlo production for that year. This Aerocoupe has received a massive list of powerplant modifcations. First and foremost, the original engine was replaced with a fresh heart pounding 383 V8 Stroker loaded with power. The engine is extensively chromed and boasts a set of Edelbrock aluminum heads, an Aeromotive fuel delivery system, with an MSD controlled Atomic fuel injection conversion system sitting atop a polished Edelbrock RPM Air Gap intake manifold. The highly detailed engine has an impressive polished "March" serpentine belt pulley system holding the polished a/c compressor, chrome alternator and power steering pump in place. All that power is pushed through a GM 4speed transmission and put to the payment with the 3:73 rear gears. The interior is in exceptional factory condition with only 44,000 miles of wear.
