Up for sale we have a 1971 Pontiac LeMans Convertible. This car has undergone a full restoration. It was done with a fresh built 400 that got great driver upgrades with the Four Wheel Power Disc Brakes and Vintage AC. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior, interior, and driveline of the Pontiac, but first we would like to tell you a little about us.
Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned, operated, and own our entire inventory, no consignments, and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 70 to 80 cars at all times. We don't have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So, that's how we can sell for less than other dealers. We will start off with the exterior of the LeMans. The body is laser straight with good fit of all the panels. Everything is covered in the Lucerne Blue that is accented by the Tan Top and Pinstripe down the sides. The paint has a deep rich shine and they did a good job in the jams and inside the trunk. The bumpers were replaced with new ones along with other trim. All the stainless around the windshield and top looks very good. When you look at the glass it all looks good along with good felt. Also, all the weather stripping was replaced. The top on this LeMans is in like new condition and is Power. This Pontiac comes with the dual sport mirrors. To complete the look it's sitting on a set of 18" and 20" Boyd Wheels with new tires.
Next, we will take a look at the interior of the Convertible. On the inside everything looks very good. It comes with Bucket Seats and Console with the factory floor shifter. It's all done in Blue with the wood wheel and wood grain on the dash and console. They added an aftermarket radio and a set of Aftermarket Gauges. This Pontiac retains the factory seat belts. Also, this LeMans comes with Vintage A/C and heat with the controls located in the factory spot in the dash.
Finally, we will take a look at the driveline of the Pontiac. Under the hood it's powered by a fresh 400 V8 and a new Turbo Trans. The engine is dressed with an Aluminum Intake, Chrome valve covers, and the stock breather with a K&N Filter upgrade. The AC Compressor and Alternator are polished along with Aluminum Pulleys. This LeMans has Dual exhaust with Flow Masters. Also, it comes with Power Steering and Four Wheel Power Disc Brakes. When you look under it the floors are rock solid with a solid frame.
