Direct from the factory this dragster includes a 5.0 Liter TiVCT
engine: SuperchargedFord Racing/Whipple 2.9L supercharger with a
3.25 pulley, and fully CNC ported heads. The electronic power
steering has all the assist with zero parasitic loss. Ford Racing
also included a suspension geometry for an optimum 60' times,
derived from computer modelingproviding you with hundreds of mile
runs!! And by the waywe know you're wonderingthis car was clocked
at 8.831 seconds at 153.37mph! Inside this race car you'll find
Recaro FIA racing seats that are in perfect condition. A Sparco
suede covered performance steering wheel will provide you that
needed firm grip and comfort for driving precision. The full roll
cage is optimized for rigidity and safety through finite element
analysis (FEA). Keeping this race prepped NHRA beast firmly planted
on the track are never before used Goodyear Eagle slicks:
30x90x15's on the rear and Goodyear Eagle 26x45x15's on the front.
All four are mounted on chromed Cobra Jet wheels that have the
infamous Ford Cobra etched on themvery cool! But in case of lift
off there's a wheelie bar to help you out. This entry from Ford
Racing is a factory-built race car (serialized, but not street
legal) and ready for the drag strip. Intentionally limited
production makes this Cobra Jet both the fastest drag racing
production Mustang ever and also a highly sought-after collectible.
