The first year of the newly re-designed Camaro, with it's sleek fastback styling and aggressive front end it is a very attractive car. The 1970 Z-28 is said to be the one to have. As the years of the second generation Camaro's production went by, power gradually dwindled in the Z-28 as compression ratios were lowered. The 1970 Z-28 came standard with a 350ci V8 that was rated at 360 horsepower, just 10 horsepower less than the Corvette of the same year.
The car we offer for sale is a very clean, rust free Cranberry Red Z-28 that has only 42,000 original miles. We purchased the car from a father and son who had purchased the car approximately twenty five years earlier from a family member who was the first owner of this Z-28. The car has a 3-speed automatic transmission mated to the numbers matching 'CTC' coded 360 horsepower 350ci V8. Paint is in very good shape, chrome looks good, lights and lenses all look nice. This car also features the higher rear spoiler, black Strato-Bucket seats, black stripes, and rally wheels.
