1967 CORVETTE STING RAY “BIG BLOCK” ROADSTER #194677S100741. (Stock #3742.) 1967 was the final year of production for the universally acclaimed Sting Ray. This car, available in coupe or roadster form, offered an engine which was the most powerful of the entire series—the 427 cubic inch, 435 horsepower “TurboJet” engine with triple 2-barrel carburetors. This engine combined with a 4-speed manual transmission and a posi-traction differential, offered performance matched by very, very few cars of the day. Our car is one of those very special Sting Ray convertibles. Finished as original in Marina Blue with white stinger, interior and convertible top, our car has won two NCRS First Place awards and is as breathtaking to see as it is to drive. It is accompanied by its original owners manual in its original sleeve, NCRS judging sheets and blue ribbons, photo-documentation of the body-off-chassis restoration, copies of titles documenting the car’s ownership history back to 1978 as well as the all-important original tank sticker showing the car to be exactly as it was originally manufactured with the exception of the side exhaust system which has replaced the original “Off Road” exhaust system.
