For Sale: 2002 Chrysler Prowler in Syosset, Florida

Vehicle Description

2002 CHRYSLER PROWLER for saleExotic Classics is pleased to present this 2002 Chrysler Prowler convertible. The design of the Prowler was born when Chrysler engineers were given free rein to create whatever they wanted in a "hot rod" or "sportster" type vehicle. One of the most striking design features of the Prowler is the open, Indy racer style front wheels. Although he is officially un-credited, famed car designer Chip Foose's Chrysler-Sponsored Senior Project car at Pasadena's Art Center College of Design, which he dubbed the Hemisfear, evolved into the Plymouth Prowler. The Prowler features a powertrain lifted from Chrysler's LH-cars, a 3.5LSOHCChrysler V6 engine with 24valves producing a powerful 253 hp. Power is delivered to a 4-speed Autostick automatic transmission located at the rear of the vehicle and joined to the engine by a flexible driveshaft that rotates at engine speed, an arrangement similar to that used by the C5 Corvette, Porsche 944 and Alfa Romeo 75, and helps to facilitate a desirable 50-50 front-rear weight distribution. Our 2002 Prowler has been meticulously maintained and never damaged. It has only 3,400 miles and is in as-new condition. The metallic Red is a special-order color and looks spectacular on the car. This modern interpretation of the classic street-rod delivers the looks, reliability and amenities you want with style that turn heads everywhere.
