You are looking at a Very Rare 1956 Pontiac Safari 2-Door Wagon project! This is a super solid car with a running 57 or 58 Pontiac V8 engine with an original 3 duce (tripower) carb setup. It has the original "Strato-Flight" automatic transmission. There was only a little over 4000 of these wagons built in 56 which that was almost 8000 Nomads built in 56. It is the same above the belt line as the Chevrolet Nomad wagon. I purchased it out of a garage in Sacramento California where I was told it had been setting for 25 years. It is a California RUST FREE car. It is as solid as a brick. I have purchased a new gas tank new old stock strips for the tail gate and several other pieces that it was missing. I also purchased a perfect drivers side front fender to replace the damaged one. It has a running 57 or 58 Pontiac engine with factory tri power carbs.
