1975 Buick LeSabre Custom Convertible
Belonging to the 4th generation of Buick LeSabres, the 1975 model featured a long body with spacious interior and a semi fastback style roofline. In this year the upscale Luxus nameplate was dropped and replaced with the LeSabre Custom. Only 5,300 LeSabre Custom Convertibles rolled off the line in 1975 and this would be the final year for the body style making them quite collectable. The very clean classic you see here is a very nice example of these cars and runs just as smoothly as it looks. The car has a unique history being owned by Vandergriff Buick for over two decades before being sold to the current owner in 1996. That being said, the car has spent its entire life in Arlington, TX and technically is a 1 owner car. It is coated in a Glasier Blue paint which works very well with the White ragtop. You don't see this color combo often but it sure works well on these cars. Two white pinstripes run the length of the car and accent the original bodylines nicely. The body is in great shape as is all of the original chrome and stainless work. Under all four corners you will find the original Buick wheels with blacked out centers and clean Optimo Hankook tires.

Pop the hood on the car and you will find the original 350 V8 with 4 barrel carburetor. The car starts up nicely and the motor runs very strong. The engine compartment just had a professional detail and is one of the cleanest looking stock motors you will find. Under the hood the car really looks like it just rolled out of the factory. The engine is paired with a smooth shifting automatic transmission the moves through the gears with ease. It has power steering and power brakes which make driving very comfortable and this year was actually the first to feature a catalytic converter making it one of the few vehicles of that time that needed unleaded gasoline.
The interior of the car is complete in White with a darker Blue on the dash and door panels. It also features the original style wood paneling which is in good condition. All of the original components on the dash are there including the original gauges, knobs, switches, etc all of which are working well. Power windows are in place throughout as well as the power assisted convertible top, tilt column, power seats and air conditioning. The trunk of the car houses the original spare from 1975 and even has the original decals which really show how well this car has been cared for since new.
