Of the estimated 100 built only a handful of these V-12's exist. An integral part of Evertt Cord's - Auburn, Cord and Duesenberg empire. Auburns role was to provide a mid range car, multi-cylinder V-12, 160 HP with 2 speed Columbia transmission, providing 6 speeds forward. The twelve cylinder models have always been held in high regard for performance and reliability. Elegant body designed by Chief stylist Alan Leamy and power train by Chief engineer George Kubin. The speedster version has been held in high regard, driven 500 miles non-stop at a speed of 113 miles per hour. Auburn went on the capture many speed and performance records including 9 International awards. This car often nicknamed "The Baby Duesenberg" is sleek, low and very fast with dual exhaust and 160 HP V12 and fold down windshield. It was repainted and re-upholstered some 30 years ago with recent chrome and completely re-machined engine, less than 200 miles ago. This car shows 42,742 believed original miles, with original herringbone running boards fitted with 2 rare standard sport lights. This car is clad in very presentable 2 tone misty green with green leather interior, dual side-mounts and covers with the rare bud disc wheels and most show quality chrome. Truly deserving of a rare investment grade classic status that has been certified category 1 by the ACD Club. The frame, engine, drive train, suspension and running gear are all original certified components. The car has completely detailed engine compartment.
