"The Dodge Brothers' 1915 entry into the automobile manufacturing business met with immediate success when the brand shot to third place in sales in the first year of production. After Chrysler's takeover in 1928, Dodge Brothers rose to the fourth highest seller on the domestic market. In 1935 the Dodge lineup was restyled in the "Wind Stream" look, a mild attempt at streamlining that aimed at the luxury market with a new V-shaped grille and more flowing lines. A new stronger chassis was equipped with an inline six cylinder engine with automatic choke and Autolite ignition, mated to an upgraded synchromesh transmission. The suspension was improved, and hydraulic brakes and "Finger Tip" steering were standard equipment, and optional extras included a radio, clock, cigar lighter and heater." - Mecum Auctions

Standing tall and holding most of its originality, the only new features included are its new set of chrome Cragar wheels but included in the sale are the original wheels as well giving you the option to swap if the classic wheels are preferred! The overall condition is like a freshly completed restoration and was frame off process giving it all the life and looks back to where it started. This vehicle still uses non-detergent oil, requires leaded gas, uses a vacuum for the wiper blades keeping this very nostalgic mechanically! A real time capsule that gives you all the nostalgia while driving, the 218 flathead engine runs smoothly and is mated to a 3-speed manual transmission which is also in great condition. The interior is like original with a wonderful warm red interior throughout, the dash holds what appears to be the original gauges and nobs, this vehicle features many great classic features like the enlarged steering wheel to make turning without power steering a bit easier and adjustable seating in the front.
