This 1948 Cadillac Series 62 is original on the interior, exterior and under the hood. It has a GM Cadillac flat head V-8 346 motor with a 4-speed Hydra-matic (Automatic) transmission. It pushes out 150 hp and 260 ft-lbs of torque. This year model was the first new design for Cadillac after WWII, the 1947 was a "warmed over" version of the 1942.
It has had over $7,000 in repairs and $8,000 in chrome added to it, receipts are available for all repairs. An interesting fact about this year is that it is the first year that the famous Cadillac "Fin" made its appearance that would be iconic for years to come.
