The Mustang instead not only hit the ground with gigantic sales numbers it also created its own class of automobile with tons of imitators. The rest of the car world had to catch up. For 1999, the Mustang received Ford's New Edge styling theme with sharper contours, larger wheel arches, and creases in its bodywork, but its basic proportions, interior design, and chassis remained the same as the previous model. The Mustang's powertrains were carried over for 1999, but benefited from new improvements. The Mustang GT's 4.6L V8 saw an increase in output to 260 BHP due to new head design and other enhancements. While many models have come and go, the Mustang stays strong today as much of a staple of the automotive world as any line.
This 1999 Mustang GT is a really cool and really fun throaty V8 powerful car that is great to have at the ready. It's powered by the 4.6L V8 engine and 5-speed manual transmission. This car has largely been left stock mechanically except for a new intake manifold gasket and Eibach suspension system. This car does have a really cool dress-up body kit to give this screamer an even more impressive look. This pony also features power 4-wheel disc brakes, traction control, power windows, air conditioning, power locks, and leather seats.
