GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1988 Jaguar XJS V12 Convertible for purchase. he XJS is a luxury grand tourer manufactured from 1975 to 1996 by Jaguar of England. It is an iconic looking vehicle with an impressive power-plant. The only other makes producing V12 powered cars at the time were Ferrari and Lamborghini, and they weren't building them for luxury; however, the Jaguar compared well with the Italians plus added more comfort. In 1988, the convertible model was introduced and became a household favorite. Convertible models were actually contracted coachwork for Hess & Eisenhardt for 1986 to 1988.
This '88 Jaguar XJS V12 is a really nice survivor that has been well cared for and fair weather driven in the Chicago area for its whole life. It was originally imported and delivered to Westlake Import Motors in Elmhurst, Illinois. It has great curb appeal in Bordeaux Red and tan leather interior. It's a really example that has almost been completely left original featuring original wheels, original radio, heated front seats, power seats, working air conditioning, power convertible top, cruise control and more. It's powered by the original 5.3L V12 paired with an automatic transmission. This is a great color combination and a really nice luxury cruiser ready for the nice weather when you are!
