For Sale: 1932 Ford Highboy in Lutz, Florida

Vehicle Description

We know you're checking out this 1932 Ford Hi-Boy roadster because it looks like it could be that perfect one with all the features you want for less than the price of building it yourself. And you'd be right, because who doesn't like classic roadster with low miles and a powered by a 350 performance V8? Oh yeah, and this one was also signed by a drag racing legend.

You're looking at a quality Gibbons body that was assembled less than five years ago. The Buttercream Yellow shines amazingly in the sunlight thanks to a deep clearcoat, but once people at the cars shows are drawn in, they'll spend plenty of time looking at the two-color custom pinstripe. It's in very cool places like across the hood, on the rear gas tank, and it even goes along the split in the doors. The caramel color in the pinstripes even coordinates nicely with the folding convertible top. This one skips the fenders and shaves the door handles to get that smooth look that all the top hot rods have. Of course it wouldn't be this cool without all the chrome in the right places such as the tilting windshield frame, headlight pods, front suspension, and the wide ARE Torq Thrust style wheels.

The neatly stitched tan leather bench is the kind of quality you love to see on the interior. It's a great place to sit and grab the custom wood and chrome three spoke steering wheel. Attached to this is a big tachometer. A billet aluminum panel in the center of the dash houses the rest of your full set of Classic Instruments...And yes that cool pinstripe pattern from the exterior is repeated around your gauges. Just below that is an AM/FM/CD stereo so you can play modern tunes in your retro ride, but that's not the most important thing on your dashboard. You might have noticed that the passenger side has the real signature of drag racing pioneer Don "Big Daddy" Garlits.

Reliability and performance? This car has both in spades. The 350 cubic-inch Chevy is the choice for the best hot rods because it has the most parts available to upgrade for show and go. This one already has a Weber four-barrel carburetor, performance air filter, and a custom stainless Magnaflow exhaust system with awesome-sounding chrome trumpets at the tips. Plus, you must have already noticed how the engine bay looks great painted to match the chrome and yellow on the rest of the car. It holds the road like a '32 Ford hot rod should with a dropped I-beam front axle with coilovers and a four-link out back. It also grips well thanks to front disc brakes and modern BF Goodrich tires on all four wheels. But as much as this might look like a pure performance machine, it also has all the makings for a nice cruiser. It's running a 700R4 four-speed overdrive automatic transmission that drives driving a Ford nine-inch rear with versatile 3.08 gears inside.

Traditional in all the ways that matter to you and fully finished in a way that makes people sit up and take notice, this is a fantastic Deuce roadster you can own today. Call now!!!
