1990 Chevrolet 1500 custom Pick up, Starting life out as an original “TRUCK FROM HELL” 454 this beast has undergone an extreme undertaking and tens of thousands of dollars as well as countless hours to get it into the show truck that you see here, some trucks are built too show and some trucks are built to go well this one does both… A very nice driving truck, Cold AC, power windows, steering your wife could drive it.
Motor: 468 CU IN Big Block, Merlin oval ported heads, Balanced and blueprinted, cylinders were bored 0.030 inch and fitted with Arias forged pistons 9.01 with moly rings, Heavy duty kryptonite connecting rods, competition cam 2.19 and 1.88 inch valves, melling timing chain, oil pump, and Moroso oil pan. Accell Computer controlled port fuel injection, MSD ignition, Motor built by Bob Lambreck. Three inch dual exhaust with flow masters, Hooker headers, hand fabricated cold air induction with K@N filters, NX nitrous system added (never used), two computer controlled fans work with the Be cool aluminum radiator to keep thinks cool. Turbo 400 Trans, heavy duty clutches, continental torque converter, twin B@M fluid coolers, TCI trans brake and a B@M ratchet shifter, Ford narrowed 9inch, strange gears 3:11. 625 HP and 580 lb-ft of torque.
Suspension: Aldan coil overs, Art Morrison pan hard track bars, front bell tech drop spindles and springs, Ranch RS5000 shocks, 4inches of drop to the front and 6 to the rear, Weld Drag lite 15inch wheels 225/65/15 rubber up front and 14inch MT sportsman’s in the rear.
Body: Rust free California truck since new, Award winning paint with BASF Glasurit, Blue metallic and white, bare metal respray, stake holes filled, reversed tailgate. The bed has been moved 1 inch forward, smoothed bumpers and custom rear bumper, finished bed with 20 gallon fuel cell, and dual nitrous bottles (never filled).
Interior: Auto meter gauges, Lecara steering wheel, interior by Bob akerman, some minimal wear to driver seats bolster.
