**PRICE DROP and UPDATE BELOW**
This is an original 1954 MG TF. The car was completely taken down to the blocks and the engine was 100% mechanically rebuilt with new gaskets, cleaned ports and cylinders, new hoses and lines etc. in the 80's. Everything came apart, and was stripped and put to new again, part by part. There were some new upholstery panels that came from Moss Motors, and some incidental replacement parts like taillights etc. But very substantially a rebuilt original 'everything'.
It drove beautifully afterward and with the 1250cc was a punchy little sports car when my father would take it out on weekends every couple of weeks or so. There are 890 miles on the odometer. It was always garaged for its entire life after the rebuild, and was stored in a clean and dry facility after his passing.

The restoration was pretty immaculate and the car is in fantastic aesthetic condition. As said the car has been kept indoors in a dry storage facility -- but whereas we believed we had someone contracted to start it up regularly, we are finding out that was not followed through on.
In light of this, a substantial price drop seems necessary. We will entertain offers in the rough price range of $16-20K. Where we would come down on it, is open to some more investigation, but this is new info to us so that would be the start area from what we see.
