1964 Imperial Crown Convertible, one of only 922 built, less than 100 remain. Designed by Elwood Engle who while at Ford, designed the famous 1961 Lincoln Continental. This is one of the all time great American Land Yachts. Originally a California car, I have been in the process of restoring it for 8 years but health issues and time now preclude me from finishing her. What is complete is a magnificent black and white two tone leather interior which I designed. The chrome has all been redone to show quality, and all stainless has been refinished to like new condition. New carpet. There is presently no top on it. I was going to install a white canvas with black piping to match the interior. The top frame has been painted white. Mechanically she is sound, but original. The top of the engine was overhauled by the previous owner, but the 413 still puts out a lot of power and she floats on her suspension system. Brakes are very good as well as is the exhaust system. This is a car for someone who wants to complete her. You can do it yourself for about $7,000 or pay someone double that, but either way, when finished, you'll have a car worth over $45K.
