This 1963 Chevy Nova SS convertible is the iconic example of a true classic brought back from the day. The restoration was done by Dale Hansen of Modern Performance Classics.
This Nova was complete when stripped, and everything was categorized as it was removed for future restoration if needed. The vehicle was then placed on a rotisserie and bead blasted exposing the need to completely start from scratch, although the chassis was intact, it was just repaired, treated and kept. The rest of the car was rebuilt from the ground up with over a year of custom fabrication work alone. New LS3 motor (430-450HP Dynode), LS headers, custom exhaust, and aluminum radiator. New Supermatic 4L65E 4 speed transmission, and Currie 9 inch Ford 373 posi rear end. Large front and rear Wilwood Brakes with steel braided brake lines. TCI pro touring front end with double leaf rear. Original color match white exterior with complimenting original color match red interior. Custom V Rod wheels By Intro, sitting on 17x7 front and 18x7 rear. All Chrome, including hood and trunk emblems were restored from original pieces with hand painted emblems to original specs. Ididit tilt chrome steering column, custom console, new convertible top, custom shifter, and custom sound system. Original rebuilt seats and 1962 vinyl coverings (found in a warehouse in the original box). This car is a great example of a classic Nova SS convertible. Offered for $75,000 OBO.
