The Impala for 1958 was a brand new model and received major restyling from Chevrolets previous designs. The new Impalas were lower, longer, and wider than 1957 model year Chevrolets. 1958 would also mark the end of the sharp tailfins that Chevrolet had been using. Not only did the Impalas receive new styling, but also a completely new elongated X frame design.
This Impala is completed in blue with a white roof; and matched by a blue tri-color interior. The power comes from a tri-powered, 348-cid V-8 engine that is matched with manual transmission. The blue exterior is highlighted with spinner wheel covers, fender skirts, and whitewall tires. Other factory options include power brakes and an AM radio.
