For Sale: 1969 Chevrolet C10 in El Paso, Texas

Vehicle Description

This is a nice 1969 Chevrolet short bed truck, This truck has had a complete frame off restoration. Every nut & bolt & all wiring has been replaced, this truck is custom from front to back no holding back on parts. Everything has been either painted or replaced. The grill is from Arizona Marine and is custom made, the radiator is new and built by a local shop here its a 5 core high flow. The fan in front is a "pusher" and only works when the AC is on, the one behind the radiator is a "puller" and works off a thermostat that's in the intake manifold. All the suspension parts were made by performance parts out of California. It has a 3" drop ( by custom made spindles ) up front with new springs and shocks, the rear is lowered 2" with lowering blocks. The power steering is two separate units ( pump & reservoir ) the reservoir is mounted next to the radiator and is billet aluminum. All the pressure lines are steel braided and custom made. The alternator is a single wire chrome 100 amp. unit. The engine is a ZZ4 chevy crate engine 350 c.u. This is a new engine not rebuilt. it Has a Ron Francis wiring system, AC is vintage air, seats are from a 98 Jeep Grand Cherokee and are power. All linkages are by Lokar, steering column is by IDIDIT, the dash is Dakota Digital. The transmission has been rebuilt, the rear end is a GM 12 bolt and has been rebuilt, with 4:11 gears. the tranny is a 700R. Door handles have been shaved, and open with a remote control, the tail gate handle has been moved to the inside which is real nice, the fuel filler cap is located in the bed. This truck is unusual, its called a heavy half which is why it came with 12 bolt and not a 10 bolt, it has 6 lugs not 5. I bought this truck in 2012 right after the previous owner finished building it, and its been fun owning it, this is a trophy winning truck, I have entered it in 3 shows and it places every time . I did not build this truck, bought it as is, but I will try to answer any questions.
