Originally Black Jade with White interior R-code. This car has now
been rotisserie restored to concourse standards. ALL ORIGINAL SHEET
METAL !!! VERY RARE to see original buck tag intact with original
paint ok stamping under hood and many original factory parts that
look NEW and still have part numbers and date codes clear to see.
This was the perfect car to start with, it had been preserved
exceptionally well. As well as the Original options : C6 Auto,
Power brakes, Power steering, AM radio, Deluxe belts, and
Tachometer; this car has added the fold down rear seat and rear
windor louvers. This car had not been driven regularly since 1979.
It was stored and owned by the 2nd owner for over 20 years. The
correct and original nodular 31 spline rear end appears to be in
the car. This would be the IDEAL car to restore since its SO
incredibly solid and has NEVER been molested before. This car is as
solid as ANY cars we've seen in the midwest since its been stored
inside its whole life. The shaker and air cleaner and snorkel looks
great and appears to be correct for the car. This is truely a RARE
FIND and a MUST SEE if you are looking for an R-Code 1969 Mach 1.
The ORIGINAL door tag and Marti report are here to insure its a
legit car and matches the vin number. This IS THE REAL DEAL. Build
date: 12/10/68 (12M) We have the car back from paint, and have
installed a freshly rebuilt, date correct Cobra Jet. We have added
air conditioning and switched to a 4-speed manual tranny instead of
the original C6 it came with. The color has been changed from Black
Jade to Raven Black. The interior will be as it came, white. This
car will be anyones dream car. Every nut and bolt has been replaced
with new or better then new parts...So this is essentially a brand
new car now. In 1969, air conditioning was NOT an available option
if you went with a 4-speed Cobra Jet. So, this car is basically THE
car that most guys wouldve wanted but couldnt buy. A 1969 Mach 1,
with the legendary 428 Cobra Jet, Shaker hood, 4-speed, and with
the best air conditioning money can buy. The car also has all the
other popular options added as well. It just doesnt get any better
then this if you are wanting a car to drive and enjoy and also
stand out in local car shows with a spectacular car.
