Awesome 1971 Chevy Nova Pro-Street "The 1971 Chevrolet Nova was available as a 2-door coupe and a 4-door sedan with pricing set at $2,200 for the sedan and $2,175 for the coupe. Standard engines included either the 250 cubic-inch six or the 307 cubic-inch V8.
 The 1971 Nova received minor revisions to the grille, and a vertical molding was also visible in the front fender corner trim panels. Amber plastic parking lamp lenses were new. Standard features included foot-operated brakes, ignition key alarm system, anti-theft steering wheel column lock, front armrests, and heater and defroster." We don't know all the details of what was done over the years, what follows is what we do know. The car started life with an 8 cylinder engine and automatic transmission. The original engine is long gone and has been replaced with a 383 Stroker motor rebuilt with less than 600 miles driven since, the original transmission has been replaced with a Muncie M-21 4-speed manual. The body had a show quality repaint in 2010 and the interior was done at the same time. What follows are the details.
