1964 Chevrolet Chevelle 300 If you are scouring the internet in search of a solid yet affordable muscle car then look no further. It is often tough to get into the classic car hobby with limited funds especially if you want something that is somewhat popular. Well this 1964 Chevelle 300 is the perfect opportunity. For these types of dollars you typically expect 4 doors, mechanical problems and some body work but this beautiful muscle car has none of that. Painted in a 2006 BMW M-3 Imola Red the car has a great exterior look. All of the stock trim and chrome is in place and the bumpers have a nice shine. The car was originally from Texas which greatly reduces your chance of rust. All of the windows are in good shape and have a slight tint. It has a great stance and rides around on Cragar SS wheels wrapped with fresh tires. Powering the vehicle is a nicely built 383 c.i engine that runs well. These motors typically have a lot of torque and can be surprisingly powerful. This one is fitted with a 650 AFB carb, Holly manifold, Harden rocker studs, Crane lifters, push rods and rockers. It is also dressed up with chrome Chevrolet valve covers and a chrome Edelbrock air cleaner. The car has a great sound through 2.5 inch exhaust into dual Flowmaster mufflers. The engine is connected to a Turbo 350 automatic transmission with shift kit and runs through the gears with ease. Air shocks are in place in the rear and the front suspension was just rebuilt with new springs and shocks. Other features include the power steering and front disc brakes. The interior of this classic is done in a combination of black upholstery with a Red dash that looks great. 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix seats were added and sit to each side of a Grand Prix center console. This gives it a much more updated feel and the seats are very comfortable and adjustable. Multiple components were just replaced including the new door panels, new window cranks, new door handles, new window weather seals, new door seals and new trunk seals. A painted to match tilt steering column sits in front of the driver and is topped with a custom chrome GT steering wheel. An AM/FM/CD player is inset into the dash and delivers a great sound through the aftermarket speakers.
