Vehicle Description
1961 Mercedes 190SL Photo documented body off the frame nut & bolt
rotisserie restoration. Finished in the original colors DB534 Fire
Engine Red with Black Leather interior and correct Black top &
boot. A timeless classic color combination and certainly one of the
most attractive ever offer. Every component restored to as left the
factory new specification. Original engine, 4 Speed manual
transmission, owners service policy, owner manual, and clock. All
receipts from the restoration are neatly presented in a binder
along with the photographs of the restoration. This is a top-notch
restoration with negligible miles on it. The Mercedes-Benz 190 SL
was the smaller more affordable sibling of the exotic 300 SL.. Both
cars had roughly the same lifespan and were sold side by side. The
190 SL was scaled to look like a miniature 300 SL Roadster. The 190
SL is a fine sports tourer that is both comfortable and durable and
as such have garnered greater appreciation among collectors in
recent years. This appreciation has led to seeing many examples
restored however few approach the level of this car.
