This Camaro features a professional repaint, a very nice original interior, and a solid running drive line with a 4 speed manual transmission. The car looks great, runs awesome, and is fun to drive, especially rowing through the gears on a beautiful day. This is an excellent opportunity to own a classic Camaro that is ready to be used and enjoyed at an unbeatable value. One could easily buy this car now and sell it for more than the purchase price in years to come. This Camaro is finished in the beautiful and desirable color combinations of Green with white painted on rally stripes over Green vinyl interior. Please peruse all of the photos below to get a true sense of clean and nice this this Camaro really is.

Model Description

1973 appeared bright for the Camaro despite the previous years problems and continued turmoil. Sales picked up slightly. While the industry was installing battering ram style bumpers on cars in response to the federal 2.5 MPH regulation, Chevy was able to engineer the Camaros bumper, including the Rally Sport so that it would pass.
The Super Sport model was dropped, but it was replaced with the Stylish Type LT model. The Type LT could be ordered with RPO Z28, and if the Rally Sport option was also ordered, you could have a Type LT/RS/Z28 Camaro.

As a side note, this Camaro is not a dealer auction vehicle. We hand pick each car after careful inspection. Our classics come from owners who expect their cars to go to someone that will give the vehicle the same care and attention as they did. We invite and encourage you to examine the car in person or have the car inspected. Please take the time to scrutinize each picture. We photograph each vehicle to the greatest extent so you can feel confident about your purchase. If you have a question about the Camaro, just give us a call.

Exterior

The Green exterior is in very nice driver condition. The professional re-paint in beautiful dark green includes white painted on rally stripes with Z28 trim and badges. The green paint and white rally stripes are a great color combination and show very well, and the car is very solid with great lines. As one can see in the photos, the paint has a nice gloss, good shine, and smooth finish. The brightwork and trim on the car and both bumpers are in nice condition and shine beautifully. There are no major imperfections that have been intentionally excluded from the photos. There are some very small blemishes and minor paint imperfections that were too small and faint to show in photos, but nothing that is really noticeable from about five feet away, mainly there are a few spots at the bottom area of the passenger rear quarter panel. The front lower spoiler was just added and looks excellent on this Camaro. Tires are brand new BF Goodrich TA's sized 225/60/15 and the 5 spoke rally wheels are in excellent shape with no curb rash with newer lug nuts and center caps. All weather stripping is in great usable condition including; door seals, window seals, window sweeps, and trunk seal. Trunk is really solid and clean.

The Camaro looks just as good in person as it does in the photos.

Interior

The Vinyl Green interior of this Camaro looks splendid. The seats look good with no rips, split seems, or signs of excessive wear, although the passenger seat does have a couple repairs, please see specific photos below. The original dash pad is in good shape with no cracks and has no fading or sun damage but has slightly pulled up in two places in the rear which is very common for this style of Camaro dash. Most importantly the original dash has not been cut on for a modern stereo and the original stereo remains in place. Original carpet is in good condition with no major stains, rips, or holes. The original door panels look good with no cracks or splits; and both door pulls are solid and in tact. The headliner is in great shape with the material still firmly attached with no stains or rips. The package tray also is in great condition with no warpage or fading from the sun. This car has not been smoked in; there is no aroma what so ever. Camaro interiors are not known to wear well and the good original overall condition of this interior is a testament to the loving care this car has received over the years.

The interior looks just as good in person as it does in the photos.

Mechanical

This Camaro is in great mechanical condition and an awesome driver. This Camaro is an exceptional driver that feels great on the road and at highway speeds. There is no smoke when starting or driving the car. It starts right away every time, idles well, and runs great. The car shifts well, does not pop out of gear, and the clutch feels good. The brakes do not pull and the car stops very well due to new brakes and brake lines being recently installed. The engine is clean and nicely detailed, and correct in appeance for a Z28 as one can see from the photos. All of the gauges work with the obvious exception of the clock and temp. gauge. The horn and blower motor for the heater work as do interior and exterior lights. The speedometer works but is not completely accurate, and we do not have a door key. The newer flowmaster true dual exhaust on the car is not obnoxiously loud, but has a very healthy tone, and the tailpipes were just installed. Not enough can be said as to how much of a pleasure it is to drive this car, especially with the 4-speed transmission on a beautiful day.

Overall Condition

Overall, this 1973 Camaro Z28 clone is in great driver condition. It is an excellent value and we have it priced to sell. This car turns heads and gets tons of attention wherever it goes. The value of these cars has gone up exponentially in recent years. They are all solid investments for a collector or the average enthusiast. There is no way someone could duplicate this car with all of the work completed for anything near the asking price. One could easily enjoy this vehicle for several years and sell it for more than the purchase price with minimal effort
