Well, if you are even vaguely aware of any aspect of American car culture, you already know what this car is. This is a very fine , completely restored, highly detailed example of one of the most popular iconic cars ever produced.
This car changed everything with it's first-in-production overhead valve 265 CID V8. This car is among only a handful of others that have such distinctive styling, innovation, and enormous popularity not only in America, but around the globe.
The under-carriage speaks for itself as it looks like it did when it rolled off the assembly line nearly 60 years ago. This car was purchased new in The Dalles, Oregon, and remained in the original family until 1975 when the current owner purchased it from the daughter of the original owner. If you are a classic car collector, or perhaps someone that just “gets” how truly special this car is, you really need to take a look at this one. Well worth it!
