This 1964 Alfa Romeo 2600 Spdr . It is equipped with a 5 Speed Manual transmission. The vehicle is Red with a Black Vinyl interior. It is offered As-Is, not covered by a warranty. - 1964 Alfa Romeo 2600 Spider Chassis No. AR192181 Engine No. AR00601*03596 Rare DOHC Six-Cylinder 1960's Italian Spider Verified by Alfa Romeo Automobilismo Storico Centro Documentazione 5-Speed Gearbox and Disc Brakes One of Just 2,255 Examples Produced from 1961-1968, Representing Classic GT Styling Great base for Tours Rallies As Alfa's all-new flagship line, the 2600 marked the end of the Italian company's long-standing tradition of producing four-cylinder cars. Offered as a Spider, four-door Berlina, or a two-door Sprint, the 2600 was available to customers in three very distinctive body styles. The all-alloy 2.6 liter inline six-cylinder engine, like its predecessors, made use of dual-overhead camshafts. Less than 2,300 2600 Spiders were ever produced. Presented here is a highly coveted late production example featuring 5spd manual transmission and disc brakes all around. According to Automobilismo Storico Centro Documentazione, chassis number AR192181 originally corresponds to an Alfa Romeo 2600 Spider (106.01) USA, manufactured on the 28th of May 1963 and sold on the 15th May 1964 to Alfa Romeo Inc., Newark USA. Engine Number AR00601*03596, Original Color: Giallo Paglierino. As driver's quality Spider, this example displays older cosmetics, exhibiting a nice patina throughout with typical blemishing and imperfections on the paint (pictured), it appears the 2600 remains complete, while currently wearing Red paintwork over a Black cabin and convertible top. The majority of brightwork and all side-glass are untouched as is the dash and several underlying components. On the dashboard there is an old brass plaque stating the car has Iskenderian Racing Cams, while the alloy 2.6 liter twin-cam engine is fitted with 3 dual side-draft Weber carburetors. The car was recently removed from long-term storage and will be sold as-is, in need of full tune-up. With their broad torque band, 2600's inherently balanced characteristics are known to easily tackle the most challenging roads. Here is a great example as base for tours, rallies or continued use after servicing or restoration. The Spider is accompanied by jack, a vintage 2600 Shop Manual and 2600 Tech manuals. $68,500.00 Offers Welcomed To learn more about this vehicle, please contact our sales department at (281) 497-1000 or Selling Made Simple.
