Here we have a really sharp color in this 1969 LeMans Blue Chevrolet Corvette Stingray hardtop, with a matching Blue interior. While this is not a show car, it is a very nice driver with a great sound. Powering this Corvette is a 350ci. V/8, 300hp, with a 4-barrel carb, mated to a 4-speed all synchromesh transmission. This Corvette comes with an A/M-F/M radio, bucket seats with brand new seat covers, console, clock, T-tops, tachometer, 4-wheel disc brakes, and chrome luggage rack. The backup lights were now integrated into the center tail lamps; the ignition was now on the steering column instead of the dash; the door depression button was removed and a key lock put in its place. Over 78% of Stingrays in 1969 had 4-speed transmissions. Today those numbers probably reflect the percentage of automatics in Corvettes. In 1969, a Corvette Stingray Sport Coupe cost about $4,763, weighed 3,091 pounds, and they sold 22,129 of them. This is compared to over 299,000 Ford Mustangs sold in 1969. Take the T-tops off to enjoy the fresh air and help hear that motor rumble, while enjoying the driving season.
