This is a 1968 Custom 500 (low end Galaxie) 2 Door Hard Top.

The car has tons of new parts.

A 351C Motor with 2BBL Heads and 4BBL Carb Manifold. The motor runs fine and does not leak. The car originally had a straight six motor that was blown. The 351C came from a 1970 Mercury Courgar.

A C6 Automatic Transmission that has been rebuilt for 500+ horsepower. The original C4 was trash along with the original motor.

The front end was completely rebuilt. This includes a larger sway bar and a larger set of springs to handle the additional 351C motor weight. The front brakes have been swapped out for disc brakes.

New rear springs and new shocks all the way around.

New rear sway bar.

The interior has been redone and looks good.

New exhaust

New gas tank

I have rear fender skirts so when I start on the body, I was going to put them on because they look sharp on a galaxy.

The car has brand new tires.

The car has brand new battery.

The car has a brand new aluminum radiator and electric fan.

I have a replacement starter

I have a replacement alternator

I have a rebuild Holly carb (racing style) that came with the car.

I have a rebuild kit for the Holly carb that is on the motor. The car runs well so I have not rebuilt the carb yet.

I have new power forged pistons and slightly hotter camshaft and lifter kit for the motor that came with the donor car. The motor does NOT need a rebuild but the kit was purchased to boost the horsepower of the car. I am throwing them in because I won't need them.

The car has a tow bar mounter to the front bumper.

I also have a fuel injection kit for the motor. That is not included but I will sell it for an extra $400.

The paint is not very good and the driver side rear quarter needs some body work. The trunk and the floors are all solid. The car is in good shape considering the age and the fact that it has not been restored.

I am moving to Florida so I am trying to sell the car. I do not plan to drive a 46 year old car to FL.
