1977 Pontiac Trans Am WS4 VIN: 2W87Z7N181323, Engine: 400c.i. 6.6L 19 Starlight Black with 19N Black Custom Interior The Pontiac Firebird received new styling to the front end for the 1977 model year. They now had quad rectangular headlamps and a more aggressive looking grille. Pontiac stylists had developed the dramatic “Batmobile” nose. The Pontiac excitement continued with the Trans Am receiving a 400 CID 6.6L engine a new shaker hood. Pontiac was starting to capitalize on the popularity of the Trans Am that was built on the F-body platform. Its hot looks showed what Pontiac stylists could do to express performance and excitement.
