NO CORVETTE ON EARTH HAS THE ORIGINAL DOCUMENTATION THIS CAR HAS. No, not a Single One. This documentation is so ultra rare that even the National Corvette Museum (NCM) and the National Corvette Restorers Society (NCRS) does not have nor have they ever seen documentation like examples 1 through 5 below. Keep in mind that every single document is mint original, not a questionable copy easily obtained. 1. The customer must have this as identification and authorization when he personally picked up his race car at the St. Louis Assembly plant. For racing, the customer greatly favored Firestone tires, so as the build sheet shows. Chevrolet built his race Corvette with RPO #C-2 tires. They were 710-15 Firestone Gum Dipped Deluxe Champion black rubber tires (not the RPO #91 offered). 4. A (G.S.B. 329C) letter dated February 19, 1964 from Chevrolet one day after the car was built. Regarding customer pick on order #28 G48 confirming, Friday February 28, 1964 as the pickup date. Document signed by E.C. Buss, Distribution Manager, Chevrolet Motor Division. THE RACING HISTORY The car raced until 1967 and then retired from racing. It then came b
