Well maintained and in excellent mechanical condition with receipts and records back to 1991. Drives and runs great. Re-painted Damson Red (maroon) but is showing its age with a few minor imperfections. The color contrasts nicely with the black interior and wood dash panel (un-cracked). The frame is original, dry and very solid. The straight six motor runs great, and is fed by the stock twin Stromberg carburetors. Ignition system has been upgraded with a high-energy coil and electronic ignition for cleaner better performance. The top is has a small cut, but still keeps the interior dry. But let’s be honest, this car is meant to be driven topless – the folding top is only for surprise showers during excursions. This TR6 has always been parked in a garage, and comes with a fitted tonneau cover and boot cover.

Many new parts and extras, including: roll-bar, replaced carpets, door sill guards, rubber mats, trunk carpet, electronic ignition, fuel pump, brake master cylinder, clutch master cylinder, re-built radiator, auxiliary electric radiator fan, starter motor, alternator, water pump, steel exhaust, Panasport minilite-style aluminum wheels, front spoiler, TR Shop manual, owner’s manual.

The Triumph TR6 is the last of the traditional British Roadsters. These cars offer a pure, open air, sports car motoring experience that is unique to the marquee. The sound, the feel and the handling is something that any auto enthusiast should experience. Original 2.5-liter inline 6-cylinder engine has 104 horsepower with more than enough power to make this TR extremely fun to drive, thanks to a curb weight of under 2,500 pounds and rear wheel drive. Also it was one of a few cars in the 1970s with independent rear suspension and rack and pinion steering & 4-speed manual transmission. The 1971 model year features desirable all steel bumpers and lower ride height than later years. These are very capable cars that can provide Big Healey power at affordable price point. Easy to maintain, readily available parts, and a strong enthusiast community make for an excellent all-around classic.
