This is a fully optioned corvette coupe originally sold in southern California (according to NCRS database) and then was being altered by the owner. The car has the original numbers matching LS5 454 motor and Munice M20 wide-ratio 4spd trans. The motor was rebuilt by Leon Patton of Pattons Racing Engines in Hemet, California and it runs very strong. Leon said the car was very stable driving across the desert at 120mph back-in-day, when I talked to him on the phone about the car. The owner installed an Ecklers Monza racing tilt front-end and riveted on wide rear fender flares. Apparently before the car was finished, the owner moved to Hogeye, Arkansas where the car sat on a trailer for about 25 years or so. We ended up with car back around 2005 and have been resurrecting it since in attempt to keep the car in the flavor in which it was being altered originally. We've got a long list of mechanical and restoration improvements including all new brakes, fuel tank, fuel pump, water pump, Centerforce III clutch assembly, OBX Racing stainless steel headers and side exhaust, etc., etc., etc. The car and it is a work in progress as you can see, and we got the car back on the road last year. If you want to finish the project, we will consider cash or trade. This is a one-of-a-kind, really amazing Vette even as it is now. It won a trophy in the "Work in Progress" category at the Bikes, Blues, and BBQ car show last year in Fayetteville, AR. Thanks.
