Seven Hills Motorcars is very proud to offer this beautiful 1977 Porsche 911S all steel Slant Nose Conversion. First off, please be assured this is not a shade tree mechanic slant nose conversion done by some amateur. Everything was professionally done and the car exhibits excellent craftsmanship. The factory 930 oil system in the vent is a good example of the level of detail the builder went to on this car. There are also literally hundreds of receipts and service records totaling over $90,000 dating back to the early 1980's, even before the the car was converted in 1989, though today for all the work and maintained completed. In our research I found an old ad for the car that lists in greater detail the specifications of the exact parts that are beyond my Porsche knowledge. That old ad can be viewed by clicking here .
This Porschein excellent condition with onlyin excellent condition with only 80,315 original miles. The car looks great, drives awesome, and is ready to be enjoyed. It is very well sorted and priced to sell. The low mileage is verified by not only the condition of the car, but also the clear Ohio title stating the mileage as "actual." Please peruse all of the photos below to get a true sense of clean and nice this Slant Nose really is.
The RUF white exterior is in very good driver condition. As one can see in the photos the finish has nice gloss and deep shine. Often Porsches will have particularly chipped up front ends, this car does not. There are no major scratches, scrapes, or other imperfections that have been intentionally excluded from the photos. There are small blemishes around the car that were too small to show up in photos, but nothing that is really noticeable from about five or ten feet away. There is some evidence from the body work very faintly showing through the paint in certain areas visible for certain angles. I took specific photos of the some of the areas below to show how unnoticeable they are. The chromed wheels are in great condition with a nice finish and no curb rash. The tires are look new with about 90% tread left.
The black interior of the Porsche looks fantastic. The seats are in splendid condition and look in person just as they do in the photos with no rips, holes, or splits seams. They are not worn through in the typical areas such as where the driver gets in and out. The carpet is in excellent condition with no stains. This included the rear carpet which is often neglected. The dash is in excellent condition with no cracks or sun fading. The sound system was professionally installed in the car, it looks great and sounds even better. The door panels look great with no cracks or splits on the arm pad. This car has not been smoked in and there is no aroma of cigarettes whatsoever.
This Porsche seems to be in fine mechanical condition and it is an absolute awesome driver. The engine was rebuilt by highly prestigious P. S. Racing in California in 1989 at a cost of over $7800 back then. There is no smoke when starting or driving the car. The car drives terrifically; it is very tight on the road and at highway speeds. The brakes are responsive and do not pull to one side or the other. The shirt throw shifter feels tight and makes this car a blast to drive. There is little crunch from first to second. All of the white face gauges work, which are actually an excellent compliment to the monochromatic look of this car. The struts for the engine cover and front storage area are a bit weak and a prop rod is needed. All of the exterior lights work and the headlights pop up with no binding. This Porsche has plenty of power and is very fast with the high performance 3.2 Liter engine. Not enough can be said as to how much of a pleasure it is to drive this car.
Overall, this 1977 Porsche is in terrific condition. The car always gets a ton of attention driving down the road. It is evident that this Slant Nose has been well cared for by its previous owners and that it has always received a very high level of car. One could easily enjoy this vehicle for several years and sell it for more than the purchase price with minimal effort.
