Description

Dave Lyall's 67 Ford Fairlane that was built for the NASCAR drag racing circuit to run in Ultra Stock IV. This car started out as a Holman & Moody "white" car. Dave lightened the car with fiberglass fenders, doors, hood, trunk, both bumpers and aluminum floor extending through the trunk. The frame was replaced with 2 x 4 steel tubes with a full roll cage tying into the front and rear of the frame. The car was ran with a 427 tunnel port and a straight axle front end. In later years a Don Ness prostock type suspension was installed in the front. Car can be easily returned back to a straight axle and with the addition of a 427 and a 4-speed it is a very rare collectible 67 Fairlane like no other.
