Since this car came out in 1965, it has been my dream car. I bought this car with the intention of bringing it back to the beauty it had to the first time I saw one. This car had a total restoration in 1996 in New Orleans, La. Incidentally, that was the DSO in which the car was sold when new. It has been garage kept ever since as well as never been driven in the rain. There is no rust on it. This car only has 349 miles, since the restoration. Included in the restoration, the motor was completely rebuilt by Sheve Automotive in New Orleans, La. The wheels were made for this car in California by the company that made all Shelby wheels. The paint job is exquisite and correct in detail. The car runs great with lots of power for a 289 engine. It has a manual choke which is also the same as the original Shelby.
I am now 67 years old and have started downsizing my property. I want someone to own this car that truly appreciates what this car represents, like I have. You are not buying a car, you’re buying a piece of history.
