The carpets do not have any wear on them. The door panels are complete and very nice looking. The center console is complete and the wood grain trim throughout the vehicle is in great condition. An Alpine CD player has been installed. Mechanical This Corvette Stingray has been extremely reliable for the current owner with regular trips to Napa, Sierra Foothills and the Pacific Coast Highway. The crate 350 cu. in. 340 HP engine fires up with ease and has a fantastic sound coming from the chambered exhaust system. The 4 speed Muncie transmission was rebuilt during the restoration and shifts great and the clutch has a good feel to it. The rear end was also rebuilt. The gas tank was replaced when the restoration was done. All of the gauges appear to be working properly. The clock is the only thing that does not appear to work. Electrically this vehicle seems to be very sound. All of the lights and signals work as they should. Overview This fantastic Corvette Stingray was restored by an engineer that restored C2 and C3 Corvettes as a hobby and he looks to have done some great work. The engineer took the car apart for a body off restoration. This beautiful Chevrolet grabs the attention of those around it by its gorgeous lines, color and sound. This Corvette is sure to be a great reliable fun vehicle for someone looking to take it on weekend road trips and to local car shows.
