History about the model At the 1964 Brussels Motor Show, Ferrari introduced its new 2+2 grand tourer which signaled a new direction in Pininfarina styling. It featured thin A-pillars and a sizable glass canopy. Under the bonnet of the 330 GT 2+2 lurked a four-liter V12 engine offering 300 horsepower. In mid-1965, the design was updated with a new nose reminiscent of the concurrent 275 GTS, with single headlamps and triple-louver fender vents. Along with the exterior revisions, Ferrari improved the 330 GT 2+2 by fitting a five-speed gearbox, hanging pedal assembly, hydraulic clutch actuation, and a revised dashboard layout. In total, just 474 examples of these second-series cars were manufactured before the 330 GT 2+2 ceased production in 1967. About this specific example This specific example is rather unique. The Ferrari has been newly delivered in Naples, Italy in 1964. The Ferrari has had only 2 owner since new. The last owner bought the Ferrari in the seventies and kept the car until 2014. The gentlemen owned a garage and was always keen on the condition of the car. It seems as the Ferrari once had a respray in its original color silver. The Borrani wheels have been restored as well some years ago. Condition interior The interior of the Ferrari is very impressive as it is completely original. It seems as the Ferrari has driven less then 100.000 kilometers during its entire life. One can see that easily on the condition of the leather and the carpets. It has a superb patina and in our opinion it has to be kept and never renewed. Driving experience Driving the Ferrari is a unique experience. The engine is extremely powerful and gives a very impressive mechanical sound. The handling is excellent, actually what you expect from a Ferrari. The steering is very direct even as braking etc. The gearbox is shifting very nicely without any synchromesh noises.
