Description

1932 Ford Custom Roadster This cool classic 32 Roadster has a lot going for it. The car was complete in a vintage nostalgic style and has a lot of features throughout that really elevate it to the next level when it comes to 32s. This is one of the old Fords that will hold its value well because of how it was built. Only the best components were used throughout and the car needs nothing. The Brookville body is all steel and coated in a deep Black that has a great shine. The TCI chassis was all painted to match and disappears underneath the body. It has been kept mostly clean from chrome except for the spreader bar in rear and front window pillars. The hood has been louvered which is an old school art form that is becoming lost over time. Pieces like the moon tank up front and cowl vent really give the car a nostalgic appearance that separates it from the rest. The front grill has been painted a dark red and to each side is a vintage style headlight/turn signal combo. The doors and deck lid are shaved of any handles and vintage taillights are mounted to both sides of the painted 18 gallon gas tank in the rear. The car has a slight rake and American Racing Salt flat wheels are under each corner. Taller tires were added to the rear and the greyed out look of the wheels works with the over all them well. Possibly the coolest feature on the car has to be found under the hood. Cruise through a car show and you will easily be able to point out the vintage hotrodders as they will have a big smile once they peak at the side of the motor. Powering the car is a high power 401 Buick Nail head engine that was all professionally built. You rarely ever see this style of engine, especially in a 32 Ford. It isnt just a cool conversation piece though, it runs extremely well. It has been fitted with a mild cam and has no problem turning the tires. It has been fitted with a few chrome dress up pieces like billet finned valve covers and air cleaner which all are in great condition. Behind the engine is a 400 Automatic transmission that shifts well without any issues. IT sends power back to the Ford 9 rear end with 3:55 gears. A So Cal suspension system was used up front with a 4 inch drop I beam axle that was painted Red. A 4 link is found in the rear. Disc brakes were added up front but are hidden via the Buick finned drum covers. Other after market components include the 21 circuit wiring harness, Vega steering box and polished radiator. The interior of the car is done in Red upholster that looks great. The Wise Guy bench seat is comfortable and was fitted with seat belts. A Lokar shifter feeds through the floor and sits next to the added cup holders. The dash is painted Black and utilizes So Cal gauges. A polished tilt column sits in front of the driver and is topped with a Banjo steering wheel that has been wrapped in matching Red. Take this unique Roadster home and start showing it off for only $48,000.00!
