1955 Phantom Hawk This is a one of a kind special built custom car about the size of a Porsche 356. Built on a shortened original 34 ford chassis in era 1953-1954. It highly resembles the 1955 GM Buick Wildcat II concept car in the front.

We named it the Phantom Hawk because it incorporated about 1/3rd of the cut down roof, doors and cowl panels from a 53 Hawk. Most panels are hand beat and fabricated by someone of skill.

We purchased it In Iowa about 6 years ago. From basic and early research, the car probability originally built in Nebraska. We have not researched entirely, but it could be true that the person that built this special one-off, eventually went to work for George Barris.

As close as we can figure, from original traits of the build, it used an original Ford flathead engine and front 1934 Ford wishbone axle. It may have used a Y-Block Ford at a later date. The body is bare but complete, no motor or trans and no suspension. There is an adjustable rear link suspension member, which is not pictured. Otherwise, what you see is what you are buying.

This rare build, was entirely painted red top and bottom when constructed, had a white and alum trimmed in, with full Stewart warner gauges. It is sold as is and where is !
