Description

1960 Pontiac StarChief 2Door Sport Sedan Please LOOK at this 1960 Pontiac StarChief 2Door Sport Sedan.... This is a very rare model and quite possible the nicest youll ever see! This is an absolutely incredible Pontiac StarChief that was meticulously maintained and documented since day one, May 17th, 1960. It is a completely original car that looks exactly as it did when it left Waldron Pontiac of St. Petersburg Florida nearly 55 years ago. You dont see many of these today and never in this condition. The StarChief 2door Sport Sedan was Pontiacs most limited production car in 1960 with the exception of the Safari wagon. The original color of Shoreline Gold & Shelltone Ivory is amazing in every respect. The chrome and trim are as good as new. The fit and finish are near perfect. The interior is incredibly beautiful and the second owner states that it is completely original. Features include Wonder Touch power steering & power brakes, custom wheels, back-up lamps and more. Everything works as it should including gauges and the Super Deluxe radio. This Florida car was ordered heater delete meaning WITHOUT a heater; a very rare and unusual choice which now adds to the value of this classic. The tri-color seating is nearly perfect as is the entire dash, carpet and headliner. The original 389ci engine starts immediately, idles smoothly and drives like a new car. Steering is accurate and there is no pulling at all. Step on the gas and the response is powerful & immediate. Factory dual exhaust Super Hydraulic Transmission and original 2bbl carburetor add to this cars value. The odometer reads 85,687. The body and undercarriage are 100% rust free and the lines are perfectly straight. No Rust and no body waves. This car has never had body damage. The documentation fills a binder & dates back to its original purchase in 1960. This is a two owner car. The original owner maintained this car flawlessly until selling it to the second owner 2008. This Sport Sedan was sold by Waldron Pontiac of St. Petersburg Florida on May 17th, 1960 to Mr. Raymond Fisher of Jacksonville Beach Florida. Mr. Fisher kept every piece of documentation that came with the car from the original window sticker, original invoice, dealership Thank You letter, paid Bill of Sale, DMV registration certificates from 1960, repair receipts, title in his name dated Oct 24th, 1984, original manuals, sales brochures and more. The second owner documents that this car is completely unrestored and original when he bought it 2008 with the exception of new window rubber. This is an INCREDIBLE piece of history! There are NO Disappointments here! There are nearly 80 photos here. See if you can find a flaw!
