Very nicely restored last year C10 Short Bed Pickup! Beautiful houndstooth interior, power steering, power disc brakes, and air conditioning! Great restoration! When the second generation Chevrolet C10 debuted in 1967, it also found itself a new nickname: Action Line. For the first time, Chevrolet had begun to realize that a truck did not necessarily need to be Spartan and no frills. In addition to new, more rust-resistant sheet metal and double reinforced steel bed, the new 67 came with coil spring trailing arm rear suspension, which proved to be a major improvement to ride comfort over the past leaf spring design. As before, the pickup continued to be one of the bread and butter items in the lineup and the revamped C10 was built in ten US cities as well as three in other countries. Throughout its 6 years, it could be had with eight different engines and five transmissions, as well as a trio of wheelbases. By the early 1970s, the truck had already undergone several minor cosmetic facelifts and changes for 1972 were small but included a glued-on rear view mirror and slightly longer interior window cranks. We are thrilled to offer this 1972 Chevrolet Cheyenne/10 pickup! Frame up restored and finished in Bright Red (originally Medium Blue) over Black & White Highlander Houndstooth (originally Blue vinyl), this shortbed makes for an extraordinary cruiser! Under the hood is the original numbers matching 307ci V8 mated to a 1970 date-coded Turbo-Hydramatic and 3.07 Posi-Traction rear axle. To compliment the amount of money spent on cosmetics, the truck was fitted with Vintage Air Conditioning, power front disc brakes, and power steering. Furthermore, the truck comes fitted with a vintage-appearance AM/FM/CD radio and Rally wheels wrapped in BF Goodrich T/A radials with chrome center caps. This beautiful C10 was bought new in Batesville, Arkansas at Stanley Wood Chevrolet-Pontiac on July 28th, 1972 with a sticker price of $2,450! Included with the truck are the original bill of sale, owners manual and protect-o-plate! This truck presents an incredible opportunity to own the last year, second generation C10 fitted with all the right features. It is equally at home at a cruise night as it is at Spring, Summer and Fall picnics. We absolutely encourage you to call with any additional questions or to schedule a viewing! Thanks for looking!
